Down the road
Well, Sunday after Mass we'd walk it. Start at the gate and go down, and every house along here I'll tell you who's in it.
The Once
A St. John's folk trio with three Canadian Folk Music Awards and two Juno nominations - harmonies straight out of the harbour.
The Once is a St. John's trio of Geraldine Hollett, Andrew Dale and Phil Churchill, built on Hollett's lead voice and the group's close harmony arrangements of folk and roots material. They have won three Canadian Folk Music Awards and multiple East Coast Music Awards, and hold two Juno nominations for Roots Album of the Year. Their 2024 album is Out Here, and they run their own GingerBeard House studio; longtime collaborator Alan Doyle took them touring internationally.
