Down the road

Well, Sunday after Mass we'd walk it. Start at the gate and go down, and every house along here I'll tell you who's in it.

Branch

branch · The Cape Shore

The last town on the Cape Shore road, at the mouth of the Branch River.

A community at the end of Route 100 where the river runs out to a long gravel beach. It was settled from Ireland like the rest of the shore and it is one of the places where the old speech is strongest.

How to get there

Route 100 past St. Bride''s and keep going. The road ends there.

The yarns
